The purpose of art is to elicit some sort of response. That response has a wide range anywhere from a peaceful serene scene in nature, angst over an issue, wonder, movement, joy, sadness, any number of emotions get stirred through art. The best art is able to do that for us in some way.
I saw this picture and had to get it. Pictures say a thousand words. For me this picture could write a book for what is plainly seen, but also for all the metaphors and illustrations about life. I’ll spare you all of them, because I’d rather have you think about what you see in this picture. Maybe in a week, I’ll add my verse that came to mind the second I saw this photo.
